March- Chairman Wu toured around Taiwan on KRNBT, SYM's newly launched 125cc scooter.

May- The Whole New Duke was launched. This new 125cc SYM scooter was certified as level 1 fuel efficiency at 63km/h and was the first model equipped with Sanyang's most advanced EnMIS system.
May- Tucson L was awarded as the "Best midsize SUV made in Taiwan" by Taiwan medias in the field of automotive industry.
May- Sanyang donated 20 converted Hyundai Staria to the Government as ambulances to provide life-saving delivery and care for people around Taiwan.
